Carrot Insurance, part of Trak Global Group, has won the ‘Best Customer App’ at the Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards in recognition of its Better Driver app. The judges highlighted Carrot’s focus on ensuring an outstanding customer experience whilst delivering significant loss ratio benefits for its insurer partners. The Better Driver app, built by Trak Global Group and launched in the UK in 2015, enables less-experienced drivers to access cheaper premiums by measuring driving data and influencing safer driving through regular rewards and tailored engagement.
