Dr. Otman Basir, President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Otman Basir is the founder, President and CEO of IMS. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada, an M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University, Canada, and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Al-Fateh University, Libya.
Dr. Basir is internationally renowned for his expertise in Sensor Fusion, Intelligent Human Computer Interfacing, Biologically Inspired Embedded Systems, and their application in Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Tony Cassetta, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Tony Cassetta holds all Marketing, Sales, Operations, Production and Quality Assurance responsibilities for IMS. Mr. Cassetta was formerly the President & CEO of Siemens Enterprise Communications Inc. He was responsible for establishing and implementing the overall business and marketing strategies for the Communication market segment in Canada. Prior to joining Siemens Canada in 2002, Mr. Cassetta held several executive positions, including Bell Canada and Bell Canada International. Also, he was President of Fundy Communications, and President and CEO of C1 Communications. In addition to his business activities, he has served as a Board member at Easter Seals, Credit Valley Hospital and is currently an Executive in Residence at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Mr. Cassetta is a Finance graduate of Ryerson University.

Rui Malhinha, Chief Financial Officer
Rui Malhinha is the IMS' Chief Financial Officer. Rui has extensive experience working with emerging technology companies. From 1998 to 2004, he was Vice-President Finance and CFO of Rand A Technology Corporation, a TSX listed company. Prior to that, Rui was a senior manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. Rui holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Jeoff Shiekh, Vice-President & General Counsel
Jeoff Shiekh is Vice-President and General Counsel at IMS. Jeoff is responsible for overseeing IMS' legal matters and contract negotiations with its global partners. Prior to joining IMS, Jeoff was Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at RAND A Technology Corporation, a TSX listed company. During his tenure at RAND, Jeoff played a key role in various transactions including managing the company's Mergers and Acquisitions portfolio, managing the company's legal department and participating in international commercial transactions. Jeoff was also instrumental in guiding RAND through its going-private transaction. Jeoff holds an Honors B.A. from York University and a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Business Transactions from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Jeoff is currently a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.

John Reynolds, Vice-President, New Business Development
John Reynolds is responsible for the leadership of the business development and marketing functions at IMS. John has an extensive marketing and sales background across a number of consumer and business verticals. Most recently, John was a senior member of the start-up team at ING DIRECT (Canada) which is now one of the world's most successful direct bank offerings. John has held a number of senior positions at large schedule 1 Canadian banks. John has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and a B.Sc. and a B.Comm. from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Ken Truffen, Vice-President, Marketing
Ken Truffen is the Vice-President, Marketing. In this role, Ken is accountable for developing and implementing the marketing and content strategies for all products, services and solutions within the IMS portfolio. Previously, Ken spent 12 years at Bell Mobility where he assisted in the growth of the wireless data market in Canada while developing key relationships with industry leading content providers. Ken is a graduate from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts.
